Welcome to November!

With the beginning of this month starts one of the busiest times of the year in the PC music room.

The 1st grade has already stated their Christmas Musical “Elflandia”.  Classroom rehearsal have been going very well.  I have some amazing singers to work with this year!  The kids love the songs and I just love to see their excitement about do this show.  Actors have been awarded their parts and our first rehearsal is Friday, November 3rd 2:30-3:30.  Actors will rehearse every Friday until Friday, Dec 15th.  The Musical will be performed on Wednesday, December 20th at The Villages Charter Middle School.  Actors need to arrive at 5:00 and the rest of my 1st graders, who are singers, need to arrive at 5:45.

Kindergarten has been working on High and low.  They have been zooming high and sneaking low to the song “I’m a Superhero”.  It has been lots of fun moving around the room with different music going high and low.  We also go to play drum and tambourines to the song “I’m a Superhero”.  If all goes as planned Kindergarten will be taking their test on Pitch using the Art/Music tablets!  Next we will begin working on our songs for their concert “For the Love of Music” occurring in February.  More information to follow.

SPECIAL AREA PARENT NIGHT:  Please plan to join your Special Area teachers on Wednesday, Nov 1st from 6:00-7:30.

As always if you have any questions or concerns I am only an email away.
