I truly enjoyed seeing all the adorable and creative costumes today. The students did a great job presenting their books to the class as well. We had so much fun making playdough monsters and naming them. The students also listened to the story The Square Pumpkin and used shapes (our unit in math) to make a pumpkin patch.
Several papers are going home this week in your child's agenda, please make sure to check the agenda nightly.
The field trip is approaching fast. Please feel free to talk to your child about farm animals and the purpose of a farm.

Agendas/binders will be sent home daily. Please check your child’s binder every day for any important information/notes. The agenda is a great tool for daily communication. You can write any questions you may have inside the agenda, as well as e-mail. Personal information is best discussed via phone call.
Our class has snack every day around 10:00. Please provide your child with a HEALTHY snack every day. Please note that snack is separate from their lunch and should only be considered a snack so one item only for snack.
Our class is always in need of class supplies. If you choose to donate any items needed for the classroom please bring those items in along with the receipt. This will allow me to accurately record your PI time in the PI Log Book. Please keep in mind that Mrs. Dunn is the only person who records PI time for the Primary Center so it may take a week or so for your time to show up online in your account. Any items donated MUST BE REQUESTED by the teacher/staff in order for you to receive PI time. Some items that the class is currently in need of are extra headphones, extra healthy snack, construction/scrap paper (for art center), and Wal-Mart/Staples gift cards for class supplies/printing pictures.
More information about PI time, class/school events, Founder's Day, report cards, AR testing, and etc. will be discussed during Open House on August 28th from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Please check k the calendar below for updated monthly information.
Homework will be assigned as needed. Please check your child’s agenda nightly to stay up-to-date.
Please check out the links before for our daily schedule, behavior plan, and our monthly newsletter.
Please feel free to contact me either through email, phone, or your child’s agenda.
