Thank you to everyone who donated to our basket for Buffalo Pride's annual basket auction. I am not sure how much it auctioned off for, but regardless, is turned out very cute!
December 1st is coming soon and that is when the final payment for KSC is due. The payment is $120 for student and chaperone. Monday, students will bring home 2 forms that need to be completed - the permission form (needs to be notarized) and a release from the tour company.
Instructional Focus for the week:
Math: Multiply Decimals
We are going to assess this chapter on Tuesday of this week. I am not going to start chapter 5 until after Fall Break. Students will have word problems for nightly homework. Please make sure they are using their reading strategies, showing their work, and checking for the reasonableness of their answer.
Science: Weather, Climate, and the Water Cycle
Testing is still scheduled for Wednesday of this week. Students have many resources to use for studying. They have their science book (folder), Science Notebook, note cards, and they can also bring home their Science Speed Bag book as a reference. All students completed a Unit 3 Study Guide. We will spend the rest of the week discussing renewable and nonrenewable resources.
