This month the students were introduced to Google Slides which is a presentation program like Power Point. The students each created their own slides to be added to their group's presentation and then each group presented it to the class.
This was part of a research project that the classes are completing on bats...the flying kind, not the baseball kind :) See the October newsletter for a few more details on this project.
The students have agreed that they would like additional time to complete their superhero comic books, so we are going to extend this project into the second semester. This will give the students ample time to be creative and complete a quality product.
