Welcome to the wonderful world of Physical Education (PE). We get physical in our daily activities, which includes fitness and fun!! Your child will have PE every day for 30 minutes. All I ask is that your child participates fully, and gives their best effort. Sometimes the things we do are difficult, but never impossible. My goal is to set forth challenges that will help your child grow and learn more about becoming physically fit.
In November we will be in our Catching and Throwing Unit. Students will be doing a variety of activities individually and with partners. As with any of our units, cooperation is always a big focus. The students will be doing activities such as: Rolling and Catching, Throwing Underhand, Self-Toss and Catch, Partner Throw and Catch, and activities with scoops and balls. When we return from Fall break we will begin a week of Jumping, and then into our Parachute and Omnikin Ball Unit.
I look forward to meeting and spending time with your child each and every day. If you have any questions, or concerns please don’t hesitate to call me at 352-259-7700.
