Mrs. Melle Broaderick « Teacher Connection / Documents / Calendar
What a great week it's been here at the Primary Center! On Tuesday the students dressed in their favorite book character for Book-o-ween; they looked so adorable!
AND, this week, many parents were able to attend the Parent Information Night for the Special Area classes. We know that makes for a very late night and we appreciate your attendance and support. We hope you found the information we shared helpful (and fun).
Now that November has started, the Kindergarten students are finishing up some "Perfectly Pink Piggies" and then will begin one of my favorite projects called "Native American Landscapes". The First Grade students will finish up some beautiful Scarecrow Portraits in watercolor and then begin some adorable Cartoon Cows.
Thank you for stopping by the website to read what's new! :o)
A little about Mrs. Broaderick
If we haven't met yet, my name is Melle (rhymes with Belle) and it isn't short for anything. It's a family name and one I'm very proud to have. The students call me Mrs. Broaderick :o) . Also a name I'm very proud to have. My husband is a paramedic/fire fighter and we have two beautiful daughters. My oldest, a graduate of VCS is planning to finish her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts this Fall, and my youngest is a sophomore this year and is on the high school swim team. I've been the Primary Art teacher now for 12 years, but I have also been a classroom teacher in first and second grades. Although I loved teaching in the classroom, I REALLY love teaching Art and especially to the age. So, I am very grateful to be teaching your child and you'll find, I take it very seriously. We will do a whole lot more then just color!
If you ever have concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I can easily be reached my our school E-mail, but you can also leave a message with our receptionist and I'll be glad to return your call.
Thank you so much,
