The Villages Early Childhood Center ("ECC") and The Villages Little Buffalo Learning Center ("LBLC") are owned and operated by The Villages Early Learning Company, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("VELC"). ECC and LBLC are not operated by The Villages Charter School, Inc. (TVCS), however, in an effort to provide continuity and seamless integration for students who advance to The Villages® Charter School, TVCS provides certain administrative services under contract with VELC.
I am excited to start another school year at the Villages Charter High School as the AP Commuter Science and Computer Science Academy teacher. As a bit of background and introduction, I have a Master of Science degree from Boston University in Computer Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. In addition, I am Certified Project Management Professional and I hold a Six Sigma Certification. I have 30 years of industry experience and 10 years of experience as an Adjunct Computer Science college professor.
This year I will be teaching AP Computer Science Principles, Programming Essentials, Database Essentials, and WEB Technologies.
Each student will need to have the following items.
100 page single subject college ruled notebook (One notebook for each Academy course)
16GB Thumb Drive
1 8oz bottle of hand sanitizer (pump bottle) Purell, GermX, or similar brand (to be left in the classroom)
To facilitate a great learning experience, all of my students student will be working in our Computer Science Learning Lab.
