Introduction to Accounting & Introduction to E-Commerce
Greetings Students & Parents,
As we begin semester two, your students should be used to the pace and work in both e-commerce and accounting. In semester two, students will be developing their marketing plans, working through the text, and start work on their Website as well. We will be doing some other work that is student driven. The goal in this segment of the year is to allow some autonomy to student learning. We will be engaging some debates on business topics as well as, gearing up for projects that are student developed. We will be busy in this semester. In accounting, we will work the last four phases of the accounting cycle and then be doing taxes, looking for an automobile and financing, and an accounting simulation, which I hope will come on line soon. As always, please e-mail with any concerns. Our updated policy for late work in semester 2 will be cut down to one week after the due date. This will assist some students in not waiting too long to submit work.
