 PI Form for Open House

Welcome back to School!!!

I hope that each and every one of you enjoyed your much needed and deserved summer break! I am so happy to have you all in my class this year! Some of you will be with me in 6th grade and some in 8th grade.  I am excited to be teaching both World History and U.S. History.  Going to be an exciting year with some new changes.  A little about me.  I have been with the Charter School for 17 years with the excpetion of a 2 year leave to start a business.  I taught first grade at the Primary Center for 10 years and am excited to have some of my 1st graders in 8th grade this year.  I taught 4th grade for two years and this makes my 4th year in the middle school.  This is my first year teaching 6th grade and I am excited for the challenge of a new subject.  I have a daughter going into 9th grade.  I am a native Floridian and have been in the Fruitland Park area for 16 years now.  When life allows for some free time I enjoy hanging with my child at the pool, the beach, or just shopping and hitting fun places to eat.  I am a true lover of coffee, not that I need it, so we love finding new little coffee shops.  (Hint, Hint)  Yes!  I love to laugh and enjoy life.  We really enjoy our down time on the sofa with Netflix for some mental relaxation.

Here is to a busy and successful start to the new year and to an amazing year in 6th/8th grade!  Please be sure to contact me with any questions!
