Mr. Jason Froehle « Teacher Connection / Documents / Calendar

Welcome back to The Villages Charter School for the 2022-2023 year!

I will be teaching Algebra 1 Honors and 7th grade Accelerated classes and looking forward to another jam packed year of learning.  Please check the student supply list to ensure your student is ready for the 1st day.

Algebra 1 Honors students will be working out of the Florida Algebra 1 textbook published by Pearson.  Students will be issued a hard copy textbook on the 1st day to remain at home.  They will be provided with a Student Companion (consumable) workbook and will have access to the textbook online (through Clever).  Towards the end of the school year students will transition to use Algebra Nation as we prepare for the mandated EOC (End Of Course exam).

7th Grade Accelerated students will be provided with a Student Companion (consumable) workbook to be used for note taking and reviewing for assessments.  Students will also be required to work in iReady Math throughout the school year to maintain skill proficiency and readiness for the FSA.

All assignments (for all classes) will be listed in google classroom and show up on the calendar below as the date they are due.

Note:  it is expected that each student brings an AR book to school each day.  I have a few books that students may read if they forgot their AR book.  Here's the information about these books.
