The Villages Early Childhood Center ("ECC") and The Villages Little Buffalo Learning Center ("LBLC") are owned and operated by The Villages Early Learning Company, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("VELC"). ECC and LBLC are not operated by The Villages Charter School, Inc. (TVCS), however, in an effort to provide continuity and seamless integration for students who advance to The Villages® Charter School, TVCS provides certain administrative services under contract with VELC.
Welcome to the 2022/2023 school year and to Mr. Carlson’s History and Civics Page
I am so excited to welcome two groups of 7th grade students to Civics and 4 groups to United States History. I am thrilled to share my time split between these amazing and know you are going to enjoy getting deeper into History in middle school. I am excited to dive right into some fun lessons and activities and am looking forward to lots of educational growth this school year.
I would like to share a little about myself. This is my 16th year teaching , but my first at the Villages Charter School. My wife and I are also new residents of The Villages and are proud grandparents for the first time. I am an avid hiker and also a huge Florida Gator fan, the university from which my son and daughter both graduated.
I look forward to meeting all of you at the orientation on Tuesday, August 2, from 11:00-1:00 or 4:00-6:00. Enjoy the rest of the summer.
