Buffalo Scholarship Foundation Partners with Amazon

Buffalo Scholarship Foundation has partnered with the Amazon Smile program.
Six years ago, the Buffalo Scholarship Foundation made a pledge (called the Buffalo Promise) that beginning with the VHS graduating class of 2023 that BSF would award every graduating senior a post-secondary scholarship. The BSF Board is finalizing the guidelines and award amounts and those will be released soon.
Since 2006, BSF has awarded 790 deserving VHS grads over $1.4 million dollars. This new Buffalo Promise along with an ever growing senior class require a significant increase in available funds each spring. If you shop on Amazon you can help us reach our goals. See the "Amazon Smile" program on the BSF website for details.

The Villages Charter School Is Growing

The Villages Daily Sun provides lots of information about a new world class development along CR 470 in Sumter County. You can learn more about the future of Villages' neighborhoods, cool shopping and dining venues, family housing, a state of the art medical complex and.... a new K-8 building and a new 9-12 high school! Click here to see the latest on the new school campus.

The Villages Introduces Middleton

The Villages just shared some exciting news in The Villages Daily Sun and Vmail about an all-new family-friendly community designed for the folks that serve the residents of The Villages. In addition, they also shared a few more details on the future expansion of The Villages Charter School. If you have not already had the chance, I invite you to take a moment to watch the video that was shared as well as read the newspaper insert.

As you may be aware, the expansion of The Villages Charter School with an additional K-8 Campus and an all-new high school campus gives us the opportunity to continue to provide a quality education to the families of The Villages current and future employees, business partners and on-property businesses that serve the residents of The Villages community.

You will likely be excited and may even have a few questions about the new schools and what this means for your kiddos.  You may be wondering about which campus your child will attend, how transportation, traffic and car lines will be handled. In the coming months, we’ll ask for your input, track your frequently asked questions, keep you updated on the progress and plans, and bring you the answers to these questions and more as we work towards a fall of 2023 opening.
