October Buffalo PRIDE Parent Meeting Still Available Online
The VCS parent organization (Buffalo PRIDE) will keep their October monthly meeting online for the next several weeks. 
Buffalo PRIDE "Closet Clutter" Coming Soon
The VCS parent organization (Buffalo PRIDE) has announced their annual 'yard sale' will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 @ 8:00 am in the VHS west parking lot. Save the date for lots of great bargains! See the Closet Clutter flyer below for details.
Buffalo Scholarship Foundation Announces Next Fundraiser
The Buffalo Scholarship Foundation will host their 18th annual golf tournament. This year the tournament will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 3 golf courses: 
Palmer Legends, Nancy Lopez Legacy & Glenview Champions

We greatly appreciate your support in the past and we hope you will join us this year, raising money for our awesome students! This event has been a major factor in BSF awarding over $1.6 million to deserving VHS graduates since 2006. Also, beginning with this year’s Class of 2023, EVERY VHS graduate will be awarded a scholarship as part of the Buffalo Promise.

Please visit BSF Golf to register players / teams, sponsor a hole and to learn more.

All $6.00 tickets are purchased through GoFan ( Tickets must be pulled up on mobile devices – no screen shots or paper copies are accepted. No cash or credit cards are accepted at the gate. 

Parking:  Enter from Little Road in front of the school or Photonics Drive behind the stadium. $3.00 donation for regular parking and $5.00 donation for premium parking at Varsity Football games. 

 Visitors must enter through the visitor's gate. There is no crossing over from the home side. There are concessions and bathrooms on the visitor’s side.

VCS Earns School of Excellence Designation!

The Villages Charter School has again earned a School of Excellence designation for the 2020-2021 school year based upon academic data from the past three school years. The Florida State Board of Education announced the list of schools in a press release today (10/22/21). See the announcement below. 

VCS Earns 19th A Rating in a Row

The Florida Department of Education has released the 2021-2022 school grades for all schools and The Villages Charter School has again earned an A rating!

Congrats to all students, teachers, administrators, staff, & parents for this achievement.

For the past 16 years, VCS has received a “K-12 grade” (all “A’s”)—also,

The Villages High School has now earned 16 straight A’s (2006 – 2022*)

The Villages Charter Middle School has now earned 19 straight A’s (2003 - 2022*)

The Villages Charter Elementary School has now earned 19 straight A’s (2003 - 2022*)

The Villages Introduces Middleton 

The Villages just shared some exciting news in The Villages Daily Sun and Vmail about an all-new family-friendly community designed for the folks that serve the residents of The Villages. In addition, they also shared a few more details on the future expansion of The Villages Charter School. If you have not already had the chance, I invite you to take a moment to watch the video that was shared as well as read the newspaper insert.  

As you may be aware, the expansion of The Villages Charter School with an additional K-8 Campus and an all-new high school campus gives us the opportunity to continue to provide a quality education to the families of The Villages current and future employees, business partners and on-property businesses that serve the residents of The Villages community.
