Candidates with advanced degrees, National Board Certification and exemplary teaching experience are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must have a Florida Professional Certificate with endorsement in the appropriate area to comply with the "Highly Qualified" requirement of "No Child Left Behind". Out of state teachers will be considered if the applicant has applied for his/her Florida Teaching Certificate and has received a "Statement of Eligibility" from the Florida Department of Education.
