The Villages High School (TVHS) is an Early College campus of Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC). This dual enrollment (DE) program allows students the opportunity to earn college credits in addition to high school credit.
For the 2024-25 school year:
26 college courses are offered on our high school campus
213 TVHS students, or 19%, take at least one dual enrollment class
In order to participate in dual enrollment courses, students must meet the application criteria and be formally admitted into Lake-Sumter State College as a dual enrollment student. The admissions deadlines are posted on the LSSC webpage and must be followed. Once a student is officially admitted to LSSC, DE courses may be scheduled at TVHS.
In order to maintain eligibility for DE courses, DE students are required to maintain a 2.0 LSSC GPA and a 3.0 unweighted TVHS high school GPA.
