The BBQ Bash is an annual fundraising event benefiting The Villages Charter School (TVCS) and hosted by the Buffalo HERD, the school’s parent organization. 2026 marked the 23rd annual BBQ Bash where crews of grillmasters competed against each other to see which dish would smoke the competition!
The 23rd annual BBQ Bash was a huge success thanks to all of the friends and neighbors who helped make this cook-off a delicious fundraising event.
Together, we raised funds for The Villages Charter School. Whether you were in the pit trying to smoke the competition or spent the afternoon tasting your way through downtown Middleton, we are sincerely grateful to our community for coming together to support the future and education of our children.
Thank you for participating in the 23rd annual BBQ Bash – we can’t wait to see what you cook up next year!
A round of applause to all who placed during the event – with so many delicious options to choose from, you earned your bragging rights until next year’s competition! We’ll see you all next year, when you bring the heat to the 24th annual BBQ Bash!
On March 7th, 2026, from 12-3 PM, come join us for a day of food and fun – all while benefitting a great cause!
This event is open to all BBQ lovers – attendees looking to sample what our pit crews cook up can purchase wristbands for $10.00 each to participate in the tasting!
This year’s BBQ Bash will be held in an all-new location in downtown Middleton! Come experience the beautiful downtown Middleton area while tasting your way across a BBQ smorgasbord provided by all of our talented pit crews!
For pitmaster teams interested in taking home the bacon, a participation fee will gain you entry to compete in this year’s BBQ Bash. This participation fee only covers registration for the event – sponsorship perks like logo advertisements and priority booth space must be purchased separately.
Cook-Off Participation Fee: $150
