The Villages Charter School parent organization (Buffalo HERD) will host their semi-annual “Stewardship Saturday” on Saturday, September 12, 2026 8:00 am – 10:00 am @ the Buffalo Ridge campus.
The Villages Charter School (TVCS) has adopted the 26-27 calendar.
The Buffalo Scholarship Foundation has opened registration for their 21st annual golf fundraiser on Saturday, October 10th. The event will again be held at four world-class Villages’ championship golf courses (Lopez Legacy, Belle Glade, Palmer Legends & Shallow Creek). At The Villages Charter School, student safety remains our highest priority. As our school and community continue to grow, we are constantly refining our procedures to ensure a safe environment before, during, and after school.
Please review the attached document for details on our updated before- and after-school policies and the newly introduced “escorted walker” program for K–8 students at our Middleton campus.

The Florida Department of Education has released the 2025-2026 school grades for all schools and The Villages Charter School has again earned an A rating!
Congrats to all students, teachers, administrators, staff, & parents for this achievement.
For the past 20 years, TVCS has received a “K-12 grade” (all “A’s”)—also,
The Villages High School has now earned 20 straight A’s (2006 – 2026*)
The Villages Charter Middle School has now earned 23 straight A’s (2003 – 2026*)
The Villages Charter Elementary School has now earned 23 straight A’s (2003 – 2026*)
* The Florida Department of Education did not issue grades for the 2020 school year due to COVID-19.

The State Board of Education designated the list of 2024-2025 Schools of Excellence on September 24, 2025. Section 1003.631, Florida Statutes, requires the State Board to designate a school as a School of Excellence if the school’s percentage of possible points earned in its school grade calculation is in the
80th percentile or higher for schools comprised of the same grade groupings (elementary, middle, high
and combination) for at least two of the last three school years.
