The Villages High School (VHS) takes great pride in providing an exceptional, comprehensive high school experience equipping students for success both on campus and in the world beyond. Our highly dedicated faculty and staff foster academic achievement and personal growth in an environment rich with opportunities to explore passions, build meaningful relationships, and prepare graduates for successful entry into college or directly into the workplace.
VHS offers a diverse curriculum including twelve (12) different College & Career Pathways through our Academies, including Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment coursework offered on campus through our partnership with Lake Sumter State College. Students are provided the opportunity to explore career and technical pathways while also earning industry certifications which articulate to industry and some higher education institutions. With a combination of rigorous courses and enriching programs, graduates are well equipped to excel in the post-secondary setting and workforce.
Alongside the courses necessary to be successful in the educational world, VHS offers twenty-eight (28) varsity sports (16 girls sports and 12 boys sports) for our student-athletes along with twenty-seven (27) clubs, plus fine arts programs, and student activities for a well-rounded educational experience.
