The Buffalo HERD will host their next regular VCS parent meeting on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 @ 6:00 pm. This month’s presentation will be by attorney Lori Smith live from The Tracy (and livestreamed to VCES Buffalo Ridge 4th & 5th Grade Center Gym). This is an “adults only” event with free child care provided at both locations. See the flyer below for details.
On Saturday, November 8th there will be two great events paired together @ VHS.
The Buffalo HERD will host their annual “Closet Clutter” rummage sale from 8:00 am – 11:00 am at the VHS west parking lot.
The Buffalo Fall Market will also be on 11/8/25 @ the VHS courtyard from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.

The Buffalo Adventures fall camp will be held on Monday, Nov. 24 – Wednesday, Nov. 26. More details coming soon.

* VHS Marching Band Music Performance Assessment (MPA) @ the HG Morse Range Saturday, November 1, 2025
* Fall Buffalo Market @ VHS on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm will include an art show in the Fine Arts Gallery.
* Primary Center Veteran’s Day mini concert & parade at the Primary Center November 11th 8:00am
* VHS Choir & The Villages Voices will perform a Veterans Day concert on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 7:00 pm @ The Tracy.
* 5th grade musical on Thursday, November 13th. We will have a 1:15 p.m. assembly for our student body, faculty and staff, and a 6:30 p.m. concert for family and friends. The concert will begin with my Middleton Choristers (consisting of twenty-two 3rd, 4th and 5th grade kids in this 2nd session of Buffalo Adventures) singing three songs, followed immediately by the very energetic and motivational sports musical, “Get in the Game”, performed by all 162 5th graders!
* The 2025 VCS Winter Dance Concert features our middle school and high school dance programs and our Golden Girl teams! This is a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays through dance! Join us for our shows on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 7:00PM featuring our VCMS at Middleton campus and VHS Dancers, and/or on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 7:00PM featuring our VCMS at Buffalo Ridge campus and VHS Dancers! Both shows will take place at The Tracy Performing Arts Center at VHS. Tickets will be on sale via The Villages Entertainment two weeks prior to the event.
* VCES Buffalo Ridge 4th & 5th Grade Center “Notes of the Season” music concert on 12/11/25 @ the 4th & 5th Center Gym (9:00 am & 10:15 am performances)
* “Christmas Camp” – The Primary Center 1st Grade Winter Musical Tuesday, December 9th at 6pm at the 4th & 5th Grade Building
* The 1st and 2nd Grade Christmas Musical “The Littlest Reindeer” will be performed on Monday, December 15th. The performance will be here at Middleton K-8 gymnasium with doors opening @ 6:00 and the show beginning @ 6:30.
* VHS Band Winter Concert on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 7:00 pm @ The Tracy.
The State Board of Education designated the list of 2024-2025 Schools of Excellence on September 24, 2025. Section 1003.631, Florida Statutes, requires the State Board to designate a school as a School of Excellence if the school’s percentage of possible points earned in its school grade calculation is in the
80th percentile or higher for schools comprised of the same grade groupings (elementary, middle, high
and combination) for at least two of the last three school years.

The Florida Department of Education has released the 2024-2025 school grades for all schools and The Villages Charter School has again earned an A rating!
Congrats to all students, teachers, administrators, staff, & parents for this achievement.
For the past 19 years, TVCS has received a “K-12 grade” (all “A’s”)—also,
The Villages High School has now earned 19 straight A’s (2006 – 2025*)
The Villages Charter Middle School has now earned 22 straight A’s (2003 – 2025*)
The Villages Charter Elementary School has now earned 22 straight A’s (2003 – 2025*)
* The Florida Department of Education did not issue grades for the 2020 school year due to COVID-19.
