The Villages Charter School will kick off the 26-27 school year with student orientation for all students in all buildings. Student orientation will be held in two sessions on Tuesday, August 4th (11:00 am – 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm). Parents can attend either session. We look forward to seeing you then!
The Villages Charter School and The Villages Charter School Autism Center have announced the “Open House” schedule for the 26-27 school year. See the attachment below for dates and start times for each building. We hope to see you then!
The Buffalo Scholarship Foundation has opened registration for their 21st annual golf fundraiser on Saturday, October 10th. The event will again be held at four world-class Villages’ championship golf courses (Lopez Legacy, Belle Glade, Palmer Legends & Shallow Creek). The Florida Department of Education has released the 2025-2026 school grades for all schools and The Villages Charter School has again earned an A rating!
Congrats to all students, teachers, administrators, staff, & parents for this achievement.
For the past 20 years, TVCS has received a “K-12 grade” (all “A’s”)—also,
The Villages High School has now earned 20 straight A’s (2006 – 2026*)
The Villages Charter Middle School has now earned 23 straight A’s (2003 – 2026*)
The Villages Charter Elementary School has now earned 23 straight A’s (2003 – 2026*)
* The Florida Department of Education did not issue grades for the 2020 school year due to COVID-19.

The State Board of Education designated the list of 2024-2025 Schools of Excellence on September 24, 2025. Section 1003.631, Florida Statutes, requires the State Board to designate a school as a School of Excellence if the school’s percentage of possible points earned in its school grade calculation is in the
80th percentile or higher for schools comprised of the same grade groupings (elementary, middle, high
and combination) for at least two of the last three school years.
