Students build upon skills throughout the elementary years in a well-rounded musical education that introduces them to a variety of genres, instruments, and cultural influences that have shaped music over time.
The curriculum, taught through QuaverMusic, is designed to teach students the basics of music theory, performance and appreciation that promotes a love for music in a positive and interactive environment. Through engaging in listening and performance skills, movement activities and vocal and instrumental ensembles, they learn to feel and respond to beat, tempo, and melody.
Our young musicians apply performance techniques that build confidence and stage presence as they perform in front of their peers and families in various performances during the year.
