Students investigate a wide range of media and techniques, from both a historical and contemporary perspective in our middle school visual arts curriculum. Through the art-making processes of creating two-dimensional and three-dimensional works, students engage in drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpting, or ceramics. Students expand their understanding and appreciation of the role of art in a global culture through investigation of artworks from Western and non-Western cultures.
